Nah...selanjutnya adalah Candi Kalasan. Candi Kalasan ini lumayan rimbun... suasana sepi, sangat bikin ngantuk. Bentuk candi yang menjulang, agak berbeda denagn khas candi Hindu... di sana sini ada beberapa patung yang sudah ilang tangannya... eman-eman banget ya.
Kunjungan berikutnya adalah Candi Sari. Candi sari ini ada di sebelah utara jalan. Candinya lebih gendut dan tidak langsing. Candi bercorak Budha ini terletak di desa Bendan. Candi Sari dibangun sekitar abad 8. Candi yang berbentuk bangunan bertingkat ini memanjang seperti persegi panjang. Di dalamnya ada tiga Bilik. Di masing-masing bilik ada Patung Budha yang diapit Bodhisatwa. Konon lantai satu dan dua dulunya dipisahkan oleh papan kayu.. wow..kerennya. Dinding luarnya dipenuhi relisf Bodhisatwa sebanyak 38 buah dan memegang bunga teratai... indah sekali.. sayang candi ini tidak sepopuler Candi Prambanan dan Borobudur.
Candi terakhir yang dikunjungi adalah candi Sambi Sari...kalo ini mah..udah deket dengan bandara Adisucipto. Keunikan Candi Sambi sari adalah letaknya yang di bawah, dan dulunya tertimbun tanah....Rumput hijau yang membentang, memberikan kesejukan tersendiri.
Kayaknya memang butuh promosi pariwisata yang lebih intens agar candi-candi indah tersebut tidak dimakan oleh jaman. mmm.....hari yang menyenangkan... yukkkk cari candi-candi baru lagi...
